Mayhem Looms This Saturday in Croydon!

The Boston Brew Organisation has, unfortunately, been living off-grid the past few weeks after its turbo-charged artificial intelligence cyber-mind had a brain fart and died. Which means there’s been little time to hip all you cats to the forthcoming farrago of fury set to descend on Croydon at the Odd Shoe this Saturday night, 16 June. Yup, having survived the gruelling booze-soaked squalor of the Crystal Palace Beer Festival, your fave foursome return to blast some brainpans with a searing set of raucous rock played at maximum mania speed. The Brew will be starting the show, followed by We Die Heroes and the Sin Kings. Gonna be fast ‘n’ furious, vivid ‘n’ vulgar and undoubtedly inebriated in pretty much every damn where. We recommend you get there early for the total experience ’cause this one’s gonna be rockingly wretched!

Just get along to the Mad Friday Festival II on 15 December at the New Horizon Community Centre, South Lodge Avenue, Pollards Hill, Mitcham, London CR4 1LT, to catch not only The Brew, but three other lovely local bands giving it loud and true in a good cause – in this instance, mental health. The Boston Brew’s Big Bonfire Nite Banger!

Rejoice ye sinners! Prepare to step into your funtime finery, strap on your struttin’ shoes and make ready to cavort like mad-assed crazies as the original cranium-blasting quartet roll back into town for another night of aural insanity early this November. Having raised the roof with their garage-rock Gesamtkunstwerk* in September, the good people of THE CHERRY TREES, SOUTH NORWOOD have decided they simply can’t get enough of the Brew’s brand of outright aural excess and have opted for another evening of hyper-tastic hard fast rock ‘n’ roll as practiced by South London’s premier exponents of 60s primal stomp. SATURDAY 4 NOVEMBER is the selected date, so pencil it into your planner and ensure all other plans are cancelled ‘cause this will be a night not to be missed! Following their triumphant turn at the Bedford in Balham a few weeks back, the band themselves are hard at work honing […]

Wild Gyrations Witnessed Down The Junction!

Well, that was a buncha fun and no mistake. Mighty props to all the Brew Krew, Members of the Bongregation and Nasty Nite People that piled into The Cherry Trees at Norwood Junction last Saturday night to catch an evening’s aural extravaganza courtesy of your favourite ferocious foursome who set the dials to eleven and let that sucker rip for two hours of sweat-inducing guitar-driven savagery! Special word of thanks to Dave ‘Ye Hammer’ Paton for coming to the rescue when Jordan The Revelator’s bass amp decided to go ka-blooey about five tunes in. Thanks also to garage rock legend Mike ‘Cannibal’ Spenser for jumping up to join the guys for a roistering rendition of Gloria. While we’re mentioning it, don’t miss The Cannibals Last Stand farewell bash on 30 September at the Dublin Castle, Camden. Pop along, you may catch a Brew or two lurking drunkenly amid the throng… […]
